I Love Saturdays y Dominegos By Alma Flor Ada

I recently read I love Saturdays y domingos. This was a story about a young girl who has parents from two different cultures. She loves spending time with both grandparents and appreciates the two cultures that she is apart of. I think this is a great story for student's to hear and learn to appreciate the cultures they are brought up in, weather it be one culture or multiple cultures. You can introduce this book to your students and then have them write about some things they enjoy doing that their culture does. This a good multicultural book with beautiful illustrations.
